This game is built around it’s characters and their philosophies, so you’ll cheat yourself out of a large part of the experience if you focus on going quickly to the ending. Since you keep all the items you gain (and Galerius can do all your chores for you when the time loop resets) you don’t lose much or any progress when you reset the loop. Thanks to the nature of the time-loop in the game, if you accidentally choose a dialogue option that changes your path or upsets a character, you can easily break the Golden Rule by stealing something or shooting someone with your bow, and then head through the portal to reset the time loop. The main reason the guide is built this way is for people to experience the full story as quickly as possible, and to help people who are stuck while progressing. This guide will only cover necessary dialogue, which means you’ll miss out on a lot of background and fun details if you only choose the dialogue options the guide tells you to.
